What to Expect
To us, our Sunday morning service is an incredibly special part of who we are at Cross Church. We believe that coming together as a church family each week is vitally important to us being connected and growing in our love for one another. However, we don't believe that it should be the only thing that defines us. Our goal is to move our church beyond just "going to church" once a week and being an attendee. We hope that our church is a place that presses you to want to belong and a place to call home.
Our atmosphere is casual and easygoing, yet reverent at the same time.
- While our worship service will promptly begin at 9:15am and 11:00am each Sunday, we begin with coffee and fellowship 20 minutes before each service. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know others and we encourage you to come early.
- Our praise and worship is simple, yet powerful. All of our worship team members belong to our church and serve us with their talents. You will find our music to be contemporary with great variety.
- Following praise and worship, we share in Communion as a church family. All believers in Christ, including guests, are invited to partake with us. This is a sacred and holy moment for us each and every week.
- After communion we dismiss the children to attend their own classes. All others stay in the sanctuary for the sermon. Our sermons are always Biblically based and usually last 30-35 minutes.
- At the conclusion of sermon, we close with an intimate time of prayer and response as a family. People are encouraged to come forward for prayer and any other spiritual needs they might have.
